FAQ

  • "HOW DO I USE THE PACK?"
  • "I CAN'T IMPORT THE PACK"
    When you download, you will receive a .zip file. Please unzip the pack and then double click on the project file to open it within Premiere Pro. You will need to link everything for the first time. Click link media and navigate to your unzipped folder and link the media. Once linked, please save The Ultimate Effects Pack Project. Once you do this, you will no longer have to link media.
  • "I HAVE LOST MY DOWNLOAD LINK"

  • "MY EFFECTS ARE SPLIT INTO 4 SQUARES, NOT WORKING"
    If you experience this, It is because your preview resolution is set to 1/2 or 1/4 and not FULL. However, please change your "Seqeunce Settings - Video Previews to Quicktime + Apple ProRes 422" See the image below. Once your render out your sequence by using "Sequence - Render In to Out" The transtion will play smooth without the squares. *Set the Video Previews to the current resolution of your timeline. Below is an example for a 4K timeline.
  • "I DO NOT HAVE ANY VISUAL EFFECTS, JUST AUDIO"
    This could be because a couple reasons If you are able to drag the entire transition over your clip and you can hear audio but no visuals, you need to make sure the "CHANGE RESOLUTION" Sequence Settings are the SAME as your Project Sequence Settings you are working on. You have forgotten to check your V2 and above target video layers when you drag in the effect you would like to use. The Ultimate Effects Pack works by pulling in those targeted layers to input it into your current transition.
  • "IT ONLY SHOWS THE EXAMPLE VIDEO, NOT THE EFFECT."
    If you are seeing the example video and not the actual video effects, you have forgotten to uncheck the V1 video layer which is the target layer before dragging on the effect to your transition. UNCHECK V1 RE-DRAG EFFECT OVER TRANSITION If you are still confused, please watch the Tutorial video again:
  • "HOW DO I SUBMIT EFFECT SUGGESTIONS?"
    I'm glad you are willing to help me out with a Future Update! Please submit your suggestion here: EFFECT SUGGESTIONS
  • "I'M GETTING A RENDER ERROR. HOW DO I FIX?"
    There are a number of reason why you are experiencing a render error. Here are some steps to try. FIX: Create an in and out point on just the transition part, Export and bring back into Premiere. FIX: Export the video that you are trying to apply the effect to at a lower resolution then bring that back into Premiere and Export again. FIX: Restart your computer. FIX: Change your Preview File Format to GoPro CineForm FIX: Lower your Preview Resolution FIX: Disable GPU Rendering If nothing seems to be working, send me an email with your issue and we will get it resolved. thekylerholland@gmail.com

    I'm able to update the pack on a as needed basis, if you find a bug, please help me by submitting a report here so I can make a fix and update the pack ASAP. BUG REPORTS
