Give your edits bold, energetic backgrounds with this free pack of 100 animated texture MOGRTs designed to work seamlessly in Adobe Premiere Pro. Follow this guide to install, use, and customize them to fit your style.
✅ HOW TO INSTALL
Download the Pack Click the link in the video description to download the zipped file.
Extract the Files Unzip the folder to a location you can easily find (like your desktop or documents folder).
Open Premiere Pro Launch your project and go to the Graphics workspace.
Window → Workspaces → Graphics
Open the Essential Graphics Panel If it’s not visible:
Window → Essential Graphics
Install the MOGRT File
In the Essential Graphics panel, click the “+” icon at the bottom right.
Navigate to the folder where you extracted the files.
Select the file named: KH100_Textures.mogrt
Done! The textures will now show up in your Essential Graphics panel with previews and thumbnails.
🎬 HOW TO USE
These textures are perfect for title cards, chapter screens, or background movement behind your text.
1. Drag to Timeline
Simply drag and drop a texture from the Essential Graphics panel onto your timeline.
It will appear as a moving background.
2. Add Your Own Text
Use the Type Tool (T) in Premiere to add custom titles over the texture.
Or, click into the MOGRT and use the built-in Text Dropdown to:
Change the font
Customize the text
Adjust text size
🎛 CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS
Each animated texture comes with editable controls to fine-tune the style:
🔁 Motion Effects
Posterize Time – Controls the frame rate feel→ Lower = stop-motion look; Higher = smoother animation
Wiggle Frequency – Controls how often the image moves→ Set to 0 for no movement
Wiggle Amplitude – Controls how far the image moves→ Higher = more chaos; Lower = subtle motion
🌗 Brightness & Blur
Darken – Makes the background darker for better text visibility
Blur – Adds Gaussian blur for a soft-focus look
Sharpen – Crisp up the texture if needed
🎨 Color Controls
Invert – Flip all colors to their opposites
Hue Shift – Rotate the hue for color variation
Saturation & Brightness (Colorized)→ Use this to convert black & white textures to color and adjust brightness
Tint – Change the color of white and black values→ E.g., turn whites red or blacks blue
❓ FAQ
Q: Can I use this in commercial projects? A: Yes! These textures are completely free for personal and commercial use. Attribution is appreciated but not required.
Q: Why don’t I see a preview or thumbnail? A: Make sure you:
Enable Local Templates Folder
Use the slider in the Essential Graphics panel to zoom thumbnails
Q: It’s not animating when I drag it in—why? A: Check that Wiggle Frequency is not set to 0 and that Posterize Time is not too low.
Q: Can I stack these with other effects? A: Absolutely. You can layer effects like glow, color grading, or blend modes on top for custom styles.
Q: Can I change the image inside the MOGRT?A: You can scroll through 100 built-in texture options inside the MOGRT panel dropdown.
